This is the Music Bridge Market, named accordingly because of the prominence of music products and loud music playing in the area. Originally trading was not allowed on this bridge, and there were a high number of criminal incidences in this area. Upon the relocation of the Herb Market, the steel interlinking bridge was built. Vendors requested for permission to trade along one side of the music bridge arguing that their permanent presence would discourage criminal incidence.

Facilities were then built to accommodate the vendors and the bridge balustrades were designed in such a way that users of the bridge were easily visible from surrounding areas. This increased visibility has successfully increased the safety of this market space.
